PassPeers is operated by Emir Ilkerli, Sattelmacherstraße 6, 21682 Stade, Germany (adrinasoftware@gmail.com), referred to as "PassPeers", "we" or "us". PassPeers is an online marketplace that brings together people who have passed a professional exam ("tutors") and people preparing for the same exam ("candidates") for one-to-one online preparation sessions.
PassPeers is an intermediary. The tutoring itself is agreed and delivered between the tutor and the candidate. PassPeers is not a school, does not employ tutors, does not guarantee any exam result and is not affiliated with any medical council, regulator or exam provider.
Tutors sign in with an email link. You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information. You are responsible for everything done through your account. Candidates do not need an account; they confirm each request by email.
A candidate sends a session request from a tutor's profile and confirms it by email. The tutor accepts or declines. If the tutor has activated online payments, the hourly rate shown on the profile at the time of acceptance becomes the fixed price, and the candidate receives a payment link that is valid for 14 days. The session is booked once the payment is made. Tutor and candidate then agree the exact time by email and hold the session within 7 days of payment.
Payments are processed by Stripe. PassPeers collects the payment on behalf of the tutor and passes it on, minus the platform fee, to the tutor's Stripe account. Stripe pays the tutor out to their bank on Stripe's normal schedule. Neither PassPeers nor the tutor sees the candidate's card details.
If a tutor has not activated online payments, the profile says so and payment is agreed directly between tutor and candidate. PassPeers is not involved in such payments and cannot refund them.
PassPeers keeps a platform fee of 15 % of each payment made through PassPeers. The remaining 85 % goes to the tutor. The fee covers the website, the matching and the payment processing. There are no other charges for tutors or candidates. Prices shown on profiles are the full amounts candidates pay.
Right of withdrawal: candidates who are consumers in the EU have a 14-day right of withdrawal. By paying, the candidate asks for the session to be held within that period and acknowledges that the right of withdrawal is lost once the session has been fully delivered. If the session has not taken place, the candidate may withdraw and is refunded in full.
Only candidates who paid for a session through PassPeers can leave a review, once per booking. Reviews show the candidate's first name, rating and text publicly on the tutor's profile. Reviews must be honest and may not contain exam content, personal data of others or abuse. We may remove reviews that break these rules.
Fake profiles, claiming an exam you did not pass, sharing confidential exam content, moving a booking off the platform to avoid the fee after it was arranged here, harassment, and any unlawful use are prohibited. We may remove profiles, cancel bookings and close accounts that break these terms, without notice where necessary.
PassPeers provides the platform with reasonable care but does not warrant that a tutor will accept a request, that a session will be held, or that any exam will be passed. PassPeers is liable without limit for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence, PassPeers is liable only for breach of essential contractual duties and limited to the foreseeable, typical damage. Statutory consumer rights are not affected.
We may change these terms for the future; tutors are informed by email at least 14 days before changes take effect and can delete their profile if they disagree. Tutors can delete their profile at any time from the dashboard. Bookings already paid remain subject to the terms in force when they were made.
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers, the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence remain in force. The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obliged and not willing to take part in dispute resolution before a consumer arbitration board.
